Marfa 9/17 - 10/3

An eclectic town.
Marfa is one of the few towns in the Big Bend area. It started as a railroad stop in the 19th century. One of the largest towns in Big Bend, it has a population of around 2,000. Marfa is know for its eclectic art.
Arriving in Marfa.
We ate lunch at Dairy Queen. More than once, including on our passage back en route to Valentine.

City Hall is pretty nice. Probably built in a more prosperous time, during the height of the railroad business.
