On the road to LIbacao we saw people gathering rafts of bamboo for transport down the Aklan River.
Here, near Kalibo, the bamboo has been collected for sale — probably for use in construction.

Notice how many people are riding in/on this tricycle, which we saw en route to Boracay. It looks like two or three on the motorcycle as well as about six to eight in the side car, counting the fellow on top.
